Claire has been a full-time Realtor since 2004 and is proud to be part of the #1 Independent Real Estate firm in Colorado Springs, The Platinum Group, REALTORS! Claire is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR). She takes the time to really understand her clients’ needs and goals and works hard to meet those goals. Her confidence and capability puts her clients at ease. Customer service is her first priority. She enjoys spending time with her clients, often developing long-term friendships with them.
Claire graduated from Wells College in Aurora, NY, a very small all-women's college. This experience built in her a strong passion for helping women build the best lives for their families. After college, she spent the first 15 years of her career in IT/Software Development. During this time, she and her husband Mark moved 7 times in 10 years, so she is an expert in helping people with their relocations!
In 1996, Claire moved with her husband to Monument, CO, and never looked back. The fresh mountain air, sunshine and lots of mild days year-round make it the perfect place to live! Monument has such a small-town feel, where everyone knows everyone, that Claire really enjoys living there. Plus it’s only 10 minutes to northern Colorado Springs, where you can find everything you need.
Claire’s goal when she started out in real estate was to be the professional that she wasn't able to find: the honest, caring professional who looks out for her clients' best interests above her own bottom line. She also believes in educating her clients throughout the home-buying or home-selling process. Real estate has its own unique terminology and not everyone is knowledgeable in the process, even if they’d been through it once or twice before.
Claire’s personal experience with real estate investing and her husband’s construction business make her well rounded, able to help clients with a variety of real estate needs. The majority of her business comes from referrals, repeat business and people she knows. With a background in technology, Claire uses her skills to provide her listings with the maximum exposure on the Internet, which results in faster sales. She is a keen listener, which not only assists with understanding her clients’ needs, but also makes her a strong negotiator.
